  I don't like writing about my own work and I dislike
more putting it out to dry, but here goes. 
  I design all my courses, to reflect the area in which
I live. It is generally wet and there are many trees. 
Thus, you will find elevated tees and greens. My trees
are all from JNG. I do not do trees. I couldn't even 
if I wanted to. Backgrounds? The new objects disk by
JNG gives me plenty. I've used one of the new picts
on this layout. Animals? I'll leave them to a higher
authority. 
  It is my belief that the courses is the thing, not 
all the glitter and shine. I have taken a lot of heat
about this, but what the hell. I layout the course
plot first, setting all the hills, valleys and water.
Then I lay the holes in. I then work each hole by raising
or lowering these as needed. I like to think I'm working
with the land, not creating it.
  I beleive the course to be technically correct. But 
nothing is ever 100%. It's difficult when dealing with
many changes in elevation.
