AUTOEXIT.COM Life Sciences Software Camano Island, WA 98292 CIS 76555,1175 This is a simple TSR keyboard stuffer I wrote to eliminate the nuisance of having to type "exit" plus return to get back to a program every time I shell from it to DOS. Six keystrokes -- what a nuisance. AutoExit does it for me with a single keystroke. With AutoExit loaded memory resident, all I have to do is press CTRL-BACKSPACE and let the program type the "exit" command for me to put me back into the parent program. The program occupies about 5.7k of memory, but installation in high memory requires about 7.3k initially. Although you aren't likely to press the hot keys unless you are in DOS, a built-in check prevents "exit" from being typed on your monitor unless characteristic DOS prompt characters (e.g., "C:\") are within 20 characters of the left edge of the screen on any line. It's free. Pete Petrakis September 16, 1991
