Version: PV COMPARE - 1.03 Copyright 1990,1991 April D. Lorenzen To start program, just type PVCOMP, no instructions are necessary. One line description: Photovoltaic (solar electric) system design, slick user interface. Purpose: Helps determine the most cost effective wire gauge to use in a particular PV system. Also calculates total useable watts, cost per useable watt. Can be used to compare system performance with various modules, charge controller types, systems with or without MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracker). Can simulate a PV module made from any series/parallel combination of individual cells, if you have I-V curve data for one cell.
