When you first run ClipHelp two new files will be written to your disk - PALETTE.HLP and (if you use the 'Edit colors' option) COLPAD.HLP. 2. If you run ClipHelp's 'Rewrite text' option file HELP.TXT will be generated from HELP.DAT, which can be viewed in your ASCII editor as an example for you when creating your own HELP.TXT file. 3. The first time you run ClipHelp's 'Make Help File' option using your own HELP.TXT file, the HELP.DAT supplied with this disk will be overwritten. The 'About ClipHelp' will no longer function as it did originally, but by that time it should have served its purpose. 4. In your link command the ClipHelp .LIB file can probably be the last in the list. If you experience problems at run time experiment with the sequence in which earlier libraries are specified, especially if you are using third party libraries. 4.
