Comments:
        This appears to be simple with two files.  With hundreds of files,
        this format helps you quickly add links between each of the ASCII
        files that share common words, phrases, or ideas.

        One side note:  I've inserted a leading space before all my synonym
        entries to separate my semantic entries (representing meaning) from
        the linguistic entries (highlighted words or phrases).

        Having built many hypertext systems, rather than highlight words and
        phrases, I usually enter my own language rather than the literal
        words or phrases.
