      READIT is a general-purpose program for reading, browsing or
      searching ascii text files, program documentation, program
      manuals, letters, etc. on your computer's screen.

      READIT will allow you to read, browse or search for text in
      any length text file. You are not limited to just your memory
      (RAM) size. I have used it to browse and search through over
      3 million (3,276,225) bytes (46,432 lines) of text in one file.

      You no longer have to load your word processor just to take a
      look at the letter you have stored on disk in ascii format.
      Just run READIT.

       Not-for-profit user's groups and distributors of "Public Domain"
       and "Shareware" type software are authorized to charge a small
       distribution fee to cover costs of materials, handling, postage,
       and general overhead.

       All distributors, wholesellers & retailers of computer equipment
       are ENCOURAGED to include, free of any charge, a complete
       un-licensed copy of READIT ( including the software, documentation
       and supporting files ) with their sales of computer equipment.

       All distributors of this software ( regardless of how distributed )
       must retain the original file name prefix of "READIT?? where ?? is
       the version number of the main software program.

       I prefer that the software be distributed as a self-desolving archive
       containing the complete software, documentation and supporting files
       but other archiving methods such as "LZH", "ZIP", "ARC", "ZOO" are
       acceptable for distribution.

       NOTE:   Concerned about virus?
         Any vendor that wishes to obtain a copy of READIT directly from
         the author may do so by writing me at the address below or
         directly by telephone at (904) 785-8946 between the hours of
         8am and 8pm central time.      See BBS.NFO file.

       from charging, or requesting donations, for any such copies,
       however made; and from distributing the software and/or
       documentation with commercial products without prior written
       permission of the author.

       READIT including the software, documentation and/or supporting
       files.

       copies of executable and example data files of this software be
