P_Toggle is a Win 3.0 utility to:

» select default printer from list
» toggle between portrait/landscape modes
» toggle between letter/legal sizes
» graphically display all current settings
» automatically updated by other apps
» all commands accessable by mouse.


P_Toggle is easy to install! Run it as any other program,
or add it to WIN.INI "LOAD=" or "RUN=" lines.

Select app (highlighted title bar) and press F1 for help.
(Or choose "Help" from system menu.) 

LIMITS:

» P_Toggle can NOT use older drivers that do NOT support
  Microsoft's recommended EXTDEVICEMODE functions. You
  must update driver to a version that supports it in
  order to use P_Toggle. P_Toggle gives an appropriate
  message and exits if the driver is incompatible.
  (Sorry, there's nothing I can do about other drivers!)

» P_Toggle's display can NOT be updated by other Apps that
  do NOT update both the resident WIN.INI (in memory -
  NOT the disk file only), or do NOT update the DEVMODE
  structure in memory. Again, this is NOT the fault of
  P_Toggle.

NOTE:

  If you are one of those people who INSIST on manually
  changing WIN.INI(such as with 'notepad'), then after
  your changes are saved to disk (WIN.INI), run the
  enclosed utility "INI_UPDT.EXE" to copy it into your
  memory. This is an excellent idea anyway, as your changes
  may NOT be saved if another app modifies WIN.INI.
  THIS MUST BE DONE AFTER EVERY SAVE in order to keep the
  information current.


  THIS SOFTWARE IS FREE AND MUST BE DISTRIBUTED WITHOUT
  CHARGE (with the exception of nominal copying fees).
