The easiest way to hear and  use the  Ballade  .SNG    ===============
file(s)  in this  archive is to  unpack  this  .ZIP    [ Unarchiving ]
file  with  PKUNZIP's  "-d" option, preferably to a    ===============
blank floppy.  This makes it  easy to  retrieve the
song files from within the Ballade program. If you have not done this,
you might want to go back and do it before continuing with Ballade.


If you  are  currently  evaluating  a  DEMO    =======================
version  of Ballade whose  COPY funtion has    [ Using Ballade demos ]
been  disabled,  you are  not out  of luck.    =======================
You can still hear the songs,  but you must
replace the contents of  one of your song  directories  (PRACTIC0.BOX,
for  example)  with the  contents  of the  .BOX  subdirectory  in this
archive.  [Be sure to  back up the  files in your Ballade subdirectory
first!] Simply copy over the CONTENTS.TBL file and any .SNG files from
this archive's .BOX subdirectory into your chosen Ballade subdirectory
