Subject: Products and Services Provided NetProc (tm) NetProc (tm) blends one of the most popular medical office managers, IBM/Spectrum Healthcare Solution's Doctor's Office Manager II Plus, with one of the fastest selling network operating systems, Artisoft's LANtastic. In less than 30 minutes a doctor's office can be up and running with 7 workstations and a server accessing all DOMs functions. The application is intuitively simple and requires a minimal amount of effort to implement. SetProc (tm) SetProc (tm) bridges Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Medigap insurance charges captured in IBM/Spectrum Healthcare Solution's Doctor's Office Manager II Plus with Transamerica's Simple Electronic Transmission application. Beginning March 1, 1992, doctors must begin submitting Medicare Claims electronically. Additional data is required for processing the claims, which is not captured by DOMS. SET.1 captures the additional data required and performs the electronic transmission of the claims but does not provide an interface to other medical systems. Enter SetProc (tm). SetProc (tm) is a utility which provides an intuitively simple approach for maintaining the data between the two systems. Once the pertinent data is transferred from DOMS to SET.1 using SetProc (tm), the user merely has to enter the additional data items in SET.1. Daily data transfers can be performed within minutes. A SECONDARY CHARACTERISTIC OF SetProc (tm) IS THAT OLDER VERSIONS OF DOCTOR'S OFFICE MANAGER II Plus CAN BE USED TO PROCESS THE NEW UPDATED CLAIMS FORMS (HCFA 1500) BY ADDING THE ADDITIONAL DATA REQUIRED, NOT CURRENTLY CONTAINED WITHIN THE DOMs DATA STRUCTURE. THIS ALLEVIATES THE NEED FOR EXPENSIVE SOFTWARE UPGRADES SIMPLY TO PROVIDE THESE ADDITIONAL DATA ITEMS. SetProc (tm) is LANtastic compatible. SetProc will be available for other electronic submission programs in the near future. OffProc (tm) OffProc (tm) is designed to help integrate the day to day tasks in the doctor's office. It allows you to design up to 256 nested point and shoot menus and up to 256 tasks. Each menu can have up to 28 selections. Menus can be nested up to 256 levels deep. Each menu can be password protected, and setup as a separate startup menu for individual workstations and users. On a single machine, OffProc (tm) can put a series of complex DOS commands into a single keystroke without the need for batch files. On multiple machines, OffProc (tm) can be used to create a common interface throughout the entire office. On networks, OffProc (tm) can be used to used to execute complex log on sequences without having to execute batch files. OffProc (tm) can also be used to lessen the difficulties when training new users. By shielding the new user from DOS, the trainer can concentrate on teaching the application to the user. Additionally, an option is provided that if the task envokes DOMS, the DOMS system date will be set to the current run date prior to entry into DOMS. The application is intuitively simple and is LANtastic compatible. Andreasen/Wallin Consulting Group is quickly becoming the forerunner in software solutions for DOMS. We are in the process of designing an interface from DOMS to many of the more popular medical office systems. Additionally, we have become internationally known for our service support of DOMS and LANtastic.
