REGISTERING  MERGEIT (TM)
You may try out MergeIt for up to 30 days. At that time I hope
you would decide whether you want to continue using it.
If you do want to continue using it, I ask you to register it.
To encourage this, I have kept the registration fee low.
If you have questions or find possible bugs in MergeIt while trying
it out, I'd like to hear from you...you can reach me thru Compuserve,
the "Well" Conference, or by US mail.

Benefits of registration:
  a) In addition to removing the startup delay screen, the normal
     registered version of "MergeIt" allows the merging of up
     to 5 image sections. If you have need of merging >5 sections please
     specify what your needs are when registering.
  b) The output image filename is not limited to ImageOut.PCX.
  c) You will receive the latest, up-to-date version of "MergeIt".
     (See "Enhancements Under Development" below.)
  d) You receive the handy utility "ScanIt" which simplifies image scanning
     and merging. See description in "MergeIt" documentation.
  e) You receive information and a utility to make personalized help
     files to display while trimming.
  f) Free technical help, upgrades at minimum expense (<$10). I may be
     reached through Compuserve, Genie, the "Well" Conference,
     and voice phone.
  g) A good conscience...supporting people who write software that other
     people find useful.

Registered MergeIt Enhancements Under Development:
 1) Automatic trimming to correct the slight mismatch between adjacent
    image scans (caused by fluctuations in scanning lines/inch).
    (Release date ~1 sept '91.)

To Register:
  The registration fee is $25 (Calif. residents please add $2.00 for
  sales tax.). This includes shipping and handling.
  Please specify whether you need a 5.25" floppy or a 3.5" floppy and
  the corresponding capacity. (Default is 5.25",360K). If you only
  specify 5.25", the default 360K floppy will be sent with some files
  compressed. Please indicate if you can read a 1.2M floppy, then
  no compression will be necessary.
