LANPrint 2.0 RELEASE NOTES LANPrint release 2.0 includes these enhancements: 1. LANPrint will now automatically check the user's Windows printer configuration to make sure that the printer he is trying to attach is configured. If it is not, LANPrint will warn the user and provide an opportunity to abort the attach. 2. If the printer being attached is properly configured in the user's Windows environment, LANPrint will make sure it is configured on the port which the user is trying to attach it to, adjusting the config- uration to include that port, if necessary. 3. As part of the attach process (provided the printer being attached is configured in the user's Windows environment), LANPrint will auto- matically make the attached printer the Windows default printer. 4. LANPrint now provides a Setup Button on the Main Screen, which will immediately produce the Windows print driver setup screen for the default Windows printer. 5. By employing the THREED.VBX library included with the Microsoft VB Professional Toolkit, we have been able to greatly reduce LANPrint's use of memory and system resources. If you have any questions about LANPrint or encounter any problems, please let us know. We can't fix problems we don't know about. You can contact Aleph Systems at (301) 270-4458, at CompuServe 71371,635, or by mail at 7319 Willow Avenue, Takoma Park, MD 20912. Thanks for trying LANPrint.
