Well wish no more. SIG is here. SIG is an extension to Silly Little Mail Reader (SLMR release 2.0 or greater) that will automatically append a signature file to the end of all your messages. 1.2 Copyright ------------- SIG is released to the public domain, and Arrow Consulting Services reserves no rights associated with the executable or associated documentation. 1.3 Disclaimer -------------- Arrow Consulting Services makes no warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to this software and accompanying documentation. Program Reference Manual 4 ------------------------------------------------------------ 2.0 Installation ---------------- 2.1 Distribution Files ---------------------- The following is a list of the distribution files: SIG.EXE This is the main executable file. SIG.MR Sample signature file. Use this one, or modify it to suit your own needs. SIG.TXT This documentation file. 2.2 Installation ---------------- 1. Copy the distribution files into your SLMR directory. 2. Modify SIG.MR using your favourite editor to create your own unique "signature". 3. Go into SLMR and modify (ALT-C) the name of the editor that you are using to place "SIG" before the editor name. i.e. before : "Q" after : "SIG Q" before : "C:\SPFPC\SPFPC REPLY.MSG" after : "SIG C:\SPFPC\SPFPC REPLY.MSG" etc... 4. That's it. Now when you enter messages, your signature file will be automatically appended. Program Reference Manual 5 ------------------------------------------------------------ 3.0 About --------- 3.1 About the Program --------------------- SIG was developed using Borland's C++ 2.0 along with all of it's associated tools (IDE, assembler, execution profiler, etc...).
