Social  fraternities and sororities are societies of college or 
university  students and alumni. Sororities, like fraternities, 
are  often  called  Greek  letter  societies  because most form 
their  names  by combining  two or three  letters of the  Greek 
alphabet. In  this  tile  set, "Greeks",  18  fraternities  and 
18 sororities are represented by their Greek letter names.

Each of the  sororities  and  fraternities included in this set
is a  genuine, currently active, social society. Interestingly,
with the  exceptions of eta and omega, each letter of the Greek
alphabet are used at least once.
