       in fact, a book.  It has no paper, you don't need to dog-ear the
       pages, and you are free to make as many copies of it as you
       please. 
       
       I believe that books on disk are the face of things to come.  The
       computer has had a profound effect upon our society and we are
       yet in the infancy of that effect.  I am pleased to be a small
       part of that beginning.  We can but guess where it will go from
       here.  
       
       I have included the first chapter from my novel Tyler Rand:  Aliens
