Marriott's Desert Springs Resort in Palm Springs California features two 18-hole championship golf courses, both are designed by world-renowned golf course architect Ted Robinson.  The resort's two course, the Palms course and the Valley course are two of the best courses I have ever played.  The Palm's course was named best new course in 1987 by Golf Digest magazine and the Valley was runner-up in 1988.  Both course are exceptionally manicured and I feel top, world renowned course like Kapalua or even some of the great courses in Florida.  I live in Seattle so traveling to Sun soaked area's to play golf is always a treat, I recreated both course with the course book and photo's that I took while playing.
