Rev. April 27, 1993 ÚÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ¿ ³ Update Notes For DDATE ³ ÀÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ DDATE v1.1 ------------------- In this version, the /l switch was introduced so that DDATE would only display files that were found to have the date you typed. The /l switch, when used, would also disable DDATE from deleting any files. DDATE v1.2 ------------------- Previous versions of DDATE (DDATE v1.0 and v1.1) have had a problem searching the root directory, when the /s was being implemented with the DDATE.EXE command. This problem is now fixed and will not occur in any later versions from now on. I apologize for the oversight. DDATE v1.3 ------------------- I The DDATE v1.2 README.TXT file had a typographical error M in which it stated to use the /d switch to turn off the file P deletion confirmation. The switch you should use for this option O is the /n switch. In later versions of DDATE (v1.3 and later) you R will only see directories that hold files that DDATE finds with the T date you are looking for. Earlier versions of DDATE would scroll A the display fast and make it hard for the user to see the data. N Also, it displayed directories which didn't have any files that T have the date being searched for -- This was not necessary infor- mation --. In addition, if the /l switch is used, DDATE will pause when the screen fills up and prompt you to press a key to continue. For color monitors, DDATE displays information in different colors, to allow data to stand out better. -- DDATE IS FULLY SUPPORTED -- Thanks to your comments and suggestions, DDATE has become a better utility. Please keep the input coming. Sincerley, Kelly Macone.
