INFOWORLD ADDED TO COMPUTER SELECT CD-ROM AND ONLINE SERVICES

Ziff Desktop Information's Computer Library group has announced it has
reached agreement with InfoWorld Publishing Company, a unit if International
Data Group, to incorporate the full text of InfoWorld, a leading weekly
newspaper covering the personal computer industry, in Computer Select, Ziff's
database of computer product and industry information.

Computer Select is one of the most extensive databases of industry
information available offering the full-text contents of 71 industry
publications such as InfoWorld, PC Week, MacWEEK, PC Magazine, and others and
abstracts from over 100 other computer publications. The database contains
nearly 80,000 full text and abstracted articles, specifications for more than
74,000 hardware, software, and communications products, and profiles of over
13,000 companies. Computer Select is available on CD-ROM as an annual
subscription with monthly updates and online through ZiffNet and CompuServe
information services.

According to Seth R. Alpert, Ziff Desktop Information's Vice President,
Strategic Product Development, "As the computer industry grows, participants
need to learn to work together in areas where cooperation expands the market
by increasing the value delivered to users. This applies to computer-related
publishing as surely as it does to software and hardware products. Our
agreement with InfoWorld is very much in this spirit. The addition to
Computer Select of the full contents of publications like InfoWorld and IDG's
PC World, which was added in October, that compete directly with Ziff titles
like PC Week and PC/Computing, are important milestones for the industry and
for users. We'll continue to enrich Computer Select by adding high-quality
publications from a variety of sources."
