comment on the BYTES article...

even the author says that you can't always recover those lost
sectors....who would want to chance it in the first place?  I
certainly wouldn't take all that time bulk erasing or whatever
methods to gain a K or two or three...if there is a higher 
number, maybe, but probably not.  If the number is high enough,
I'm gonna toss that puppy.


Something you might want to consider when running articles like
that one is that you may get some reader mail.  Why not make a
section of the magazine for Publishing some of that 'reader feedback'?
