PROGRAMS FOR V.42/V.32 MODEMS

In  theory, any program that allows hardware handshaking  and  an

initialization  stirng  will  work. You  set  RTS/CTS  (hardware)

handshaking, and AT&F&C1&D2S36=7  for the init string. S95=3 will

cause  2400/ARQ connect messages, if you don't want  protocol  or

compression results.

     The software I recommend is QMODEM, TELIX, or Procomm Plus

(in  that  order).   (they  are  all  'clones'  of  the  original

Procomm, and have the best user interface).
