Hello.


The font you have just unzipped is FinkFont, the newest from
the House of Cards Type Foundry, the same people (person) who
brought you FranzKafka. FinkFont was designed by Howard
Fink by burning the characters into a block of wood. Thus, Finkfont.
Finkfont is a display font with no lower case or punctuation (sorry,
block wasn't that big). It looks nice when embossed in wood
textures, or as a dropcap for a story in the north woods...

This font is, as is FranzKafka, postcardware. If you download it
and use it, just send a postcard from wherever you live. FranzKafka
got postcards from Iowa, Wisconsin, and even Prauge! Of course,
if you really feel compelled to send money, equipment, whatever,
well, who am I to stop you? Of course, such donations only seem
to occur in my dreams. Hmm. Well, anyway, please enjoy Finkfont.

Coming up from the House of Cards Foundry:

Graffiti: Blob like characters seen lavishly sprayed on various
          buildings and trucks around New York City. Why take
          a can of spraypaint to a wall when you can just print
          your message out on a printer? Tape not included.


Saturn & Jupiter: My first attempt at a set of traditional serif
                  and sans-serif typefaces. The experiment is to
                  make words extremely easy to recognize, while
                  maintaining their shapes at *any* point size.
