It looks like a telephone stuck to your PC, but SoundXchange Model B is 
actually an innovative tool for recording and playing digitized
sound in Windows 3.1.  The unit includes a built in sound board, microphone,
and amplified speaker, plus a telephone style handset for private recording
and playing of sound files.  If you already have a sound board, the 
SoundXchange Model A will connect to it and provide the same functionality.

Both models support applications that use Microsoft Multimedia Extensions as 
well as Object Linking and Embedding for annotating files.
