Do not run IconUpDater with a FOSSIL Drive if you are using standard coms and IRQs. This does not mean turn off you Fossil drive, it just means, that IconUpDater doesn't care if one is load or NOT. If you are using coms 1,2,3 or 4 with IRQs 3, or 4 then do not put FOSSIL on line #2 of the config file. Note: if you are using COMs 3 or 4, you may have to put IRQ 4 or 3 respectively, on config line #2. If you are using Non-Standard sets up other that the ones stated above, then put FOSSIL on line #2 of DNICON.CFG...if that does seem to work, then put DIGI on line #3...whether you are runing a DigiBoard or not. All this does is tell IconUpDater to read the WCPORTID environment variable. If you have any question please call. If you are using a Fossil driver and want to run IconUpDater under your fossil then you need to use Streamlines SDPF.exe Fossil supported transfer protocol, and not DSZ or GSZ....read the SYSOP.txt. I have include the SDPF file in the IconUpDater ZIP file. SDPF101e.zip Make sure you run and read thru ICSETUP carefully. You will need to set an environment variable. SET DSZLOG=c:\DSZ\DSZ.LOG You will need to TURN ON your fossil drive from one of your BAT files before IconUpDater runs. You can FREQ SDPF from DUOnline (1:110/800).... magic name "SDPF".
