Welcome To The ___ ----------------------------------------------_--- ----------------- --- ----------------------- ------------------ H O T ------------------ -------------------- ---------------- ----------------------- --------------- ----------------------------------------- Heart Of Tennessee Bulletin Board Service (615) 890-8715 Why Pay for Good Menus and RIP Screens, They should all be FREE.. You can capture them anyway so why not share them and make BBSing a better place at an affordable price for the Sysops. PCBoard HOT Menus v1.1 10/25/93 =============================== Added missing Menus and started creating a Windows Rip Menu that looks just like the real thing, On-line... Added Header for Files Listing that will allow you to use the Mouse (RIP) for space taging. PCBoard HOT Menus v1.0 10/19/93 =============================== The Following Menus are FREE for you to Copy, Change or Modify for your BBS. If You have made any modifications that would benefit others we only ask that you be kind enough to share them. Legal Stuff.. We ain't responsible for nutin.... It's Yours! With the introduction of PCBoard v15.0 and it's enhanced features like Menus and RIP Graphics, I am sure there will be better ways of displaying PCBoard to the computer users. These menus were created for a couple of reasons. 1. Many users complained about how hard PCBoard was to use. 2. To much to choose from. (All commands listed in one Menu). 3. Some liked color graphics (Those with High Speed Modems) others were becoming fond of the new RIP graphics. (Mouse Users) We set out to design some menus to make it simple for the users, offer even more information about a command and allow all of PCBoard's commands from the Main Menu. So the Main Menu is not a sub menu itself. We set up the menu as it was in the past with MAIN, MAING and MAINR as the menus for our conference with our path. X:\PCB\MENUS\MAIN We listed our Sub-Menu commands in our Main Menu, then added them to our Command list. PCBSETUP, File Locations, Configuration Files, COMMAND.LST. Command Security PPE / MNU Files etc. ======= ======== ==================== MM 0 X:\PCB\MENUS\MM.MNU This is the Message Menu OM 0 X:\PCB\MENUS\OM.MNU This is the Options Menu FM 0 X:\PCB\MENUS\FM.MNU This is the Files Menu SM 0 X:\PCB\MENUS\SM.MNU This is the SetUp Menu SYS 200 X:\PCB\MENUS\SYS.MNU and this is the Sysop Menu These commands will allow us to call each Sub Menu and Quit to return to the Main Menu. | Sorry have not completed the Sysop Rip screen yet... I Know this information is not the best, however all you need to do is set up a path for your menus and edit your command list as above with your path, Then use MKPCBMNU to edit the .MNU Files. The color Menus were edited with PCBEdit. You may use any RIP Editor you wish to edit the RIP Menus or a text editor to change HOT to your BBS Name etc. Enjoy and remember to upload to us or Salt those great graphics for the rest of us to enjoy.
