Kasparov , Short draw 12th game

London- Garry Kasparov and Nigel Short drew the 12th game of the Professional Chess Association championship yesterday after a hard fought battle. The 30-year old Russian champion leads his 28-year old English challenger at the half-way point in the 24-game match by 8 1/2-3 1/2.
