The little town of Nam Tok (which already means 'waterfall')
is the end of the railway line Bangkok Noi - Kanchanaburi - Nam Tok,
and the only part of the Burma railroad still in use.
A lot of Thai tourists visit the waterfall for just one day,
a lot of farang tourists visit this waterfall and all others
(Erewan) and Kanchanaburi by tour-bus in one day too.
Taking the railroad however is much more interesting.
