  Boca Research has come out with a new Modem called the Multimedia
  Modem. The unit is available in both external and internal which
  gives you a low cost messaging center at the touch of your
  fingers.

  The new voice/data/fax modem, which comes with windows based
  voice and fax software, has an automated attendant feature that
  lets you check, answer, and leave messages when you dial into
  your personal computer.

  Example:  You'rve received faxes at yoru computer while you were
  on the road, you can have those faxes forwarded to a fax number
  at your hotel when you dial into your Multimedia Modem.

  If you work in a group, the modem can be setup to handle 999
  mailboxes. The unit is capable of routing calls to each
  extension, and the attendant lets you transfer among mailboxes.
  The Modem has built in intelligence that detects voice and or fax
  transmissions, enabling you to dial into a mailbox, leave a
  message, and then attach a fax.  The fax modem transmits at
  9,600bps while the data modem works at 2,400bps.
