	DESKTOP is an editor for Windows 3.1 that allows editing
files of any size.  In this shareware version, you will find
that DESKTOP is not crippled and has no "nag screens".  It is,
however, stripped to the bare essentials and untested on a
variety of machines. 	This application was the first step
towards developing a Windows utility package. Comments are, 
therefore, welcomed and encouraged.

	One of the goals of DESKTOP is to provide a "familiar face".
The absence of a help guide was not an omission - it is felt
that DESKTOP's operation is intuitive and common to most other
editors.

	The files that you need are:   
		desktop.exe
		ctl3d.dll
	
	Ctl3d.dll should be placed in the same directory as desktop.exe
or in your Windows directory.
