Introduction


        As time goes by disk drives are getting bigger and bigger.
Sometimes you have to copy or backup some type of file(s) and
you may not know where the file(s) are.

The JS-FCOPY utility greatly simplifies the task of finding and making
copy(s) of file(s).


Example : JS-FCOPY [options] file mask .... 
JS-FCOPY will search for file(s) and copy the file(s) to a destination
you will provid to the utility.
JS-FCOPY can also search for file(s) on more then one drive at a time .


OPTIONS
-------
-P or -p              The utility will prompt you on each file.

-O destination        This tells the utility where to copy the files
                      to.(the destination)


-o destination        This tells the utility where to copy the files
                      to. (the destination)




EXAMPLE # 1
-----------
JS-FCOPY -O B:\ A:\*.EXE C:\*.EXE
Example # 1 tells JS-FCOPY to copy all *.exe file(s) from drive a: and
drive c: to drive b:.


EXAMPLE # 2
-----------
JS-FCOPY -P -O B:\ A:\*.EXE C:\*.EXE
Example # 2 tells JS-FCOPY to copy all *.exe file(s) from drive a: and
drive c: to drive b:. and also prompt you to confirm the copy of each
file one at a time.


EXAMPLE # 3
-----------
JS-FCOPY -P A:\*.EXE C:\DOS\*.COM
Example # 3 tells JS-FCOPY to copy all the *.exe file(s) from drive a:
and than copy all the *.com file(s) from drive c: dir DOS. You will be
prompted to give the destination.


EXAMPLE # 4
-----------
JS-FCOPY [M-N]*.*
Example # 4 tells JS-FCOPY to copy all the files with a 'M' or a 'N' as
the first letter of its name. You will be prompted to give the destination.


EXAMPLE # 5
-----------
JS-FCOPY ?JOHN.DAT
Example # 5  tells JS-FCOPY to copy all the files with
any character as the first letter of its name, but the rest
of the name must be JOHN.DAT. You will be prompted to give the destination.




Registration

  I will keep improving the program if I know enough people are
  finding it useful.

  My registration policy is very flexible. The nominal fee are listed
  in the file REGISTER.TXT. If you don't feel you will get your money
  worth of use out of JS-FCOPY, send whatever it is worth to you.

  If you are impoverished and can't afford to pay anything,
  enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope
  and I will send you a registration.

  This is not freeware or public domain. Shareware is simply a means
  of marketing commercial software. You are required to register if
  you intend to use this program after a reasonable trial period.

  When registering, please tell me the version number you have 
  and where you obtained your copy of JS-FCOPY.

  JS-FCOPY should be registered for the maximum number of copies that
  can be used simultaneously at your site. Site fees for commercial
  users can be negotiated.

  If you register for the full fee, and enclose a Shipping and
  Handling fee of $3 I will send you the latest versions of JS-FCOPY and
  Some Free Demo's.  if you decide to use it after a trial period. I will 
  also send other File related shareware programs.

Program Abort

    Hitting Control-C (or Control-Break) will terminate the program
    immediately. 


Distribution

    Permission is hereby given to copy and distribute this program
    as long as no more than $5 is charged. It must be made clear to
    the buyer that this is only a handling charge and not a
    registration fee. You must include all files in their original
    unmodified form when distributing this program. .

    Permission to distribute may be revoked by the Johnathan Mark Smith 
    at any time for any reason.

    YOU MUST NOT DISTRIBUTE ANY COPY WHICH HAS BEEN BRANDED WITH
    A REGISTRATION CODE.
