Ingredients:

1 Large Potatoe grated fine
1 Medium onion grated fine
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp savory
Oil

Grate and mix potatoes and onion.  Add salt and savory.

Heat oil in frying pan (1/2 inch of oil) until hot.  Drop the
pototoe mixture by spoonfuls into the oil.  They cook quickly.
About 30 seconds per side.  Remove and drain on paper towel.

Attractive.  Can be frozen after cooking and baked.
