Lithuanian Potato Custard

Ingredients:

Grate 6 large potatoes -- rinse with salt water
grate 1 onion
6 oz. of bacon - cooked with the fat
               - not crisp the bacon
               - sliced thin

5 oz. can evaporated milk (small can)
5 eggs beaten
1 tbsp. butter melted
salt and pepper

Stir mixture in a big bowl.  Looks like a pudding.  Place in 10 x14 pan.
Bake 425 for 30 minutes.  Turn oven 325 and bake for 30 minutes more.

To serve cut into squares.  Nice with a salad.
