=========================================================================== BBS: The GWE BBS [ASV] [CIN] Date: 01-04-41 (43 19) Number: 76 From: PRINCESS #2 @5459*2 Refer#: NONE To: ALL Recvd: YES Subj: if you still have leftove Conf: (37) Home Cooki --------------------------------------------------------------------------- LEFTOVER TURKEY STROGANNOF (Chatelaine, Oct. 1992) 1 tsp butter or vegetable oil 1 onion 1 sweet pepper, diced 1/4 lbs mushrooms 4 cups cooked leftover turkey 1/2 cup wine or chicken stock 1 tsp poultry seasoning 3/4 cups sour cream 1 pkg (250g) broad egg noodles Melt butter in frying pan. Saute sweet pepper and onion for 5 mins. Add mushrooms and turkey, then wine and poultry seasoning. Boil uncovered until only about 1/4 of the liquid remains. Remove from heat.  Stir in sour cream. Serve. And an excellent dessert from a friend.... PEACH CRISP 1/3 cup butter 1/3 cup flour 1 cup brown sugar (NOT PACKED) 1 cup oats 1 tsp cinnamon 1/8 tsp salt 1 large can of Peach halv (Strain but keep 1/4 cup of the syrup) Mix flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon and salt in a mixing bowl. Cream in  the butter. Place the peaches in a baking dish with the holes downward. Pour in the oat mixture, cover with syrup from the can of peaches. Bake at 350c for 30 mins. Cool. Serve. (Can be served with ice-cream)
