I looked up recipes for vanilla icing... couldn't find much but this is what 

I've got... for now!


FROSTING

3 cups powdered sugar
3/4 cup shortening
1 tsp vanilla
2 egg whites


In a small bowl, combine, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, vanilla, shortening, andf 

egg whites.  Blend well.  Beat in remaining sugar until frosting is smooth.
