1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup chocolate chips
Powdered sugar(to dust on top)

In a 2-cup measure, place butter and chocolate.  Cook on HIGH(maximum
power) 1 1/2 minutes,or until butter is melted.  Chocolate will not
appear melted until stirred.  Beat eggs in large mixing bowl until
light and foamy.  Stir in chocolate mixture,sugar,flour,baking powder,
and vanilla.  Stir in nuts and chips.  Pour into glass pie plate
Cook on HIGH(max. power) 6 minutes.  Brownies will still be moist,
but will firm as cooled.  dust with confectioner's sugar.  cool before
cutting.

À*I made these without the nuts and chips and they turned out just fine.
Also I substituted cocoa (4tbsps.) instead of the chocolate.  I REALLY
wanted something sweet and didn't have everything,so I made due!
