 pigs in a blanket is an English dish & it is basiically cooked "Banger", a 

type of breakfast sausage wrapped in a pancake-type batter. I've made a simple 

version of this by putting grilled breakfast sausages in Pillsbury's crescent 

rolls, then baking them.
