1 lb lean ground beef
1/3 cup chopped onion
8 oz tomato sauce
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1  11oz can whole kernel corn drained
2 cups water
3 tbls margarine
3/4 cup milk
2 cups instant potatoes
4 oz can green chilis drained and chopped]
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 med chopped tomato

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly grease 2 1/2 or 3 quart casserole.
In large skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain well.
Add tomato sauce, garlic salt, salt, and pepper.
In medium sauce pan bring water, milk, and margarine to a boil.
Stir in potato flakes with a fork until potatoes are desired consistancy.
Stir in green chilis.
In casserole pour ground beef mixture, then add layer of corn and spread
potato mixture evenly over corn.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 min or until cheese is melted and bubbly

arouned edges.
Let stand 5 min.
Top with chopped tomato if desired.
