                       APPLE BUTTER PIE
1 pastry shell
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbls flour
1/2 cup apple butter
2 tbls melted margarine
2 well beaten eggs
1 1/2 cup milk
1 cup light cream
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Use pastry to line a 9 inch pie pan, fluting a high edge.
Mix sugar with flour.
Gradually stir in apple butter and melted margarine.
Beat eggs with milk and cream.
Beat into apple butter mixture.
Pour into pastry shell.
Sprinkle with nut meg
Bake in preheated moderate oven 350 degrees for 50 to 60 min or until knife

comes out clean.
Cool on rack.
