Conf: (37) Home Cooki --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spare ribs and cabbage (zeberka wieprzowena z kapusta) 1 T oil 4 1/2 Lb. fresh pork spareribs cut into 6 pieces 1 Lrg onion 1 lge carrot sliced 2 t. caraway seeds 2 tea. instant beef bouillon 1/2 tea.salt 1/4 tea. coarsely groung pepper 1 bay leaf 2 cups water 1/2 cup vineager 1 small head green cabbage cut into 6 wedges Heat oil in dutch oven until hot. cook pork spareribs, few pieces at a time,  over medium heat until brown on all sides, say about 15 minutes. Drain fat. add onion, carrot, bouillon, salt,carraway seeds, 1/4 tea. pepper and bay leaf  . pour water and vineager over pork mixture. heat to boiling. Reduce heat.  Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hiours. Add cabbage and sprinkle with pepper. cover  and simmer until cabbage is tender, about 45 minutes. Remove bay leaf.  arrange spare ribs and vegetables on serving platter and garnish with snipped  parsley if desired. The way to a mans heart is through his....... Kitty
