Add cold water and slowly bring to the boil, stirring. Stir in chicken and mushrooms, season and pour into a 2 pint pie dish. Allow to cool. Roll out pastry and top the pie. Make leaves with pastry trimmings and decorate pastry top. Brush with beaten egg and cook in oven for about 25-30 minutes. Cover with foil if pastry is browning too quickly. Serve hot with French beans and boiled potatoes.
