 OB> If they are fresh (unsmoked) you can simmer them slowly with sour
kraut until well done. Along towards the end of the cooking time add
some small whole potatoes. Make sure the feet are well cleaned and
trimmed before cooking.
        Another thing is pickeling them but I don't  have a recipe.
