a recipe for Snicker doodles, here it is.

Snicker Doodle Cookies

Mix Together                       Sift together

1 cup soft shortning               2 3/4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar                   2 t-spoons Cream of Tartar
2 eggs                             1 t-spoon soda
                                   1/2 t-spoon salt

Chill dough. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in a mixture of 2

t-spoons of sugar and 2 t-spoons cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased

cookie sheet. Bake until lightly brown but still soft. Bake at 400 degrees for

8-10 minutes.  (Makes 5 dozen)

A tasty addition is to add some chocolate chips when mixing everything

together.
