This is an appitizer I've been making for years. It is simple to make, and tastes great. All you have to do is get a real thick steak, preferably at least 1 to 1.5 inches thick. Slice the steak into strips and place the strips into a deep bowl. Then fill the bowl with enough teriaki sauce to completely cover the steak strips. Cover the bowl and place it in the fridge for around 24 hours. Make sure you cover it, or EVERYTHING in the fridge will smell like teriaki. After the strips have been in there for 24 hours, there should be very little teriaki left in the bowl, it will have almost completely soaked into the strips. Fold the strips accordian style and push a bamboo skewer through it, stretching the strip back out to it's original length. It should look woven onto the stick. Set your oven on broil and broil about 2 minutes on each side. Or if you prefer, grill them outside on your grill. I guarantee, if you try this, you will LOVE it!! Let me know if you try it, and how you liked it. Later Daze, -Strange Brew 9----- 9Sysop of SpellSinger II
