     Here's a little something I whipped up last night for a covered-dish
supper at church; all I had to do was rinse out the containers and bring 'em
home.  :)

     QnD Beef Noodles

          1/2 lb. ground chuck
          3 strips bacon
          1 4-oz. can mushrooms (stems & pieces are fine)
          1 pkg. French's brown gravy mix
          1-2 Tbsp. good red wine
          Black pepper

          1 pkg. wide egg noodles

Fry bacon 'til crisp; crumble and reserve.  Brown ground beef; drain and re-
serve.  Drain mushrooms.  Prepare French's gravy mix according to package di-
rections; add bacon, ground beef, mushrooms, and wine.  Add black pepper to
taste.  Stir and let simmer while you cook the noodles (again, according to
package directions).  Serve gravy over noodles.

     Not for health-conscious people.  ;-)
