For anyone wanting a simple main dish, try this:

take a frozen roast or frozen brisket, rinse with water (DO NOT DEFROST).
sprinkle with garlic powder -heavy.  Put in a roasting pan, cover.  Put pan
in 325 oven.  Cook until liquid in the bottom of the pan scorches.  Then add
enough water to half cover meat.  Cook additional 30 min.  (time is usually 1
hour per pound)  Meat is done....remove meat from pan, put on top of stove
