This is a Mississippi favorite!

3 cups plain flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 1/4 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons oil
4 tablespoons poppy seed
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
1 1/2 teaspoons butter extract

Put all intredients in mixing bowl and beat for 2 minutes.  Pour into 2
greased and floured loaf pans.  Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Cool in
pans for 10 minutes, then turn out on wire rack .

GLAZE
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon butter extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup orange juice

Mix and glaze bread while it is still hot.  Good luck!
