Try this and you'll love it! Fried Shark Fingers 1 lb. shark fillets, cut into 1/2 inch strips 1 can flat beer 2 cups self rising flour 1 cup cornmeal 1 1/2 cup milk 2 Tbsp. condensed milk 1/4 tsp. basil 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. black pepper 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard peanut oil for frying tartar sauce or Thousand Island Dressing Soak shark strips in flat beer for one hour. In a bowl, mix the flour, basil, cornmeal, salt and pepper. In another bowl, mix thoroughly the milk, condensed milk and prepared mustard. Combine the contents of both bowls and blend to smooth the batter. Preheat a deep fryer to 350-400 degrees. Remove the shark from the beer and drain. Dip in the batter, then place in deep hot peanut oil. When the fish is done, it will float and turn a golden brown color.
