                        B & L Hot Dog Sauce
                        ___________________

3 lb hamburger - onion if desired

Cover with water & cook - mash with potatoe masher while cooking.
Add: 1 - 15oz tomatoe sauce
     1 - 26oz bottle ketchup
     2 t. chili powder
     1 t. pepper
     2 tsp sugar
       salt to taste

     Cook at least 1 hour stirring occasionally.

     I live in New Cumberland West Virginia right now. My brothers and
I were born and raised in Ohio, right across the river. Every time I tasted
a chili dog in ohio it had beans in the sauce. But this recipe comes from
a really great Hot Dog place called B & L in Fairmont West Virginia where
my wife was born. And believe me this is the best Hot Dog sauce I have ever
tasted.
     B & L is well known for their hot dog sauce. The even have a hot &
spicy form of this in their store. Good with chocolate milk to drink.
