Add onion and cook over medium heat until the onion is tender. stir in seasonings, tomatoes, soup and rice. Add half of the olive slices. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spoon into a baking dish and top with the cheese strips. Heat at 350 degrees until the cheese is melted.
