One of my favorite recipes is Chicken Bon Bon, a Chinese dish with a French
name.  Basically, it's a plate of shredded cucumbers topped with chicken
chucnks, and then topped with a spicy sauce that includes sesame seed paste
(tahini) and/or peanut butter.

In some versions, the cucumbers sit on top of cellophane noodles.

I have not found a decent recipe for the sauce.  The one recipe I located was
pretty bland, and not like the sauce at our local chinese restaurant.  The
restaurant owner does not want to share her secret.

Is anyone else familar with this dish?  Any suggestions for the sauce?
