                        Green Tomato Relish
                        ___________________

Ingredients:

2 sm boxed whole mix spices
10 large red and green peppers
10 lbs sugar
1/2 to 1 gallon vinagar
3 lb onions
2 large heads of cabbage
40 lb green tomatoes
1 box salt

     Clean, cut and grind all vegetables. Cover all with i box salt and
stir.  Set over night. Cover with water and run through collinder. Put
in seasoning, sugar and vinegar. Cook 1/2 hour . Put in clean hot Pint
jars leaving 1/2 inch head space and seal. Makes 32 pints.

     This is one of my families favorite recipes.
