Since we are snowed in with a foot of snow here in Central KY and the

temperature is -20, I thought I'd post one our favorite recipes for hot spice

tea. We make a couple of large jars of the tea and keep it in the refrigerator

then heat a mug when we want it. I don't use quite that much sugar. And I have

used orange-pineapple blend juice.

      Title: Spice Tea
 Categories: Beverages
   Servings: 12

      9 c  Water
      3    Cinnamon sticks
      2 c  Sugar (or to taste)
  1 1/2 ts Whole Cloves
    1/2 c  Lemon juice
  1 1/2 c  Orange juice
  1 1/2 c  Pineapple juice
      9    Tea bags

  Combine sugar, water, and spices; heat to boiling point. Add tea bags and
  steep for 5 minutes.  Heat juices and add to the tea mixture. Strain and
  store in refrigerator. Heat to serve.
